I received a large cut of beef from a friend and I needed to trim it and cut into steaks. I had no idea how to trim it or cut it correctly. I called Mikes to see if they could help out. I was lucky enough to speak with Steve and he helped me identify the cut and what I needed to do. I realized this was going to be above my ability so I asked if he made house calls. Surprisingly, he said he would come by cut it up and wrap it for me. I was very happy to hear that. Steve came by with all the tools and paper and got to work. He gave me a tutorial while he worked so I could cut up the next one I get. He is an artist with a knife and knows his craft as well as being a nice guy. I was very impressed with him and his knowledge. I would recommend Mikes to anyone looking for quality cuts of meat along with great customer service.
